Shane Baxter is the Senior Pastor of Enjoy Church. Under Shane’s visionary leadership and relational style, Enjoy Church has grown significantly over the past 12 years, meeting in multiple campuses across Melbourne and the state with over 90 nationalities represented.
Shane is a member of the National Executive for the ACC (Australian Christian Churches), and is the State President for the ACC in Victoria. He is passionate about seeing the local church fruitful and flourishing, and impacting and influencing the community and beyond. He is committed to leadership development and seeing people released into their purpose and calling.
His dedication to training and equipping people is further evidenced by establishing a Bible College campus at Enjoy in 2006.
He has a unique ability to relate and connect with people through his zest for life and warm sense of humour. Woven through his life is Ecclesiastes 8:15, “So I commend the enjoyment of life”.
Shane is married to Georgie, who is actively involved in ministry with him and they have two beautiful daughters.

With his own powerful testimony of salvation and life transformation Ps David Doery is passionate about people rising to their God given potential. For over 20 years his impacting life and ministry has been dedicated to seeing “Champions rise” and the Church enlarge.
As Senior Pastor of Bridge Church, he and his wife Sally lead a powerful and contemporary church committed to bringing personal and community transformation through the gospel message. Located in the inner city of Melbourne, with over 3500 in attendance, Bridge is a multicultural and multi-generational Pentecostal church having a significant impact both locally and overseas. David and Sally have five children.
As Vice President, David is a senior member of the executive and, among other things, heads up our regional structures in the state.

Mark Bates and his wife Karen were senior pastors of Valley Christian Centre, Morwell for the past 15 years. During that time the church purchased and developed a 7 Hectare High School site into a multi-purpose ministry and community centre. Valley Christian Centre planted 3 satellite congregations which became autonomous churches. The church grew an effective community care program which became the largest provider of material aid in Eastern Victoria, distributing an excess of $500,000 of aid every year.
He has been the Secretary/ Treasurer of the Assemblies of God Victoria since 2000 co-ordinating and overseeing the administration of over 250 churches. He served for 5 years as District leader of Gippsland caring for 22 churches and currently serves as a Trustee for the Australian Christian Super fund.
Mark is now the full time Secretary / Treasurer for the state, running the state office and working with our state departments in their fiduciary and financial responsibilities. Mark coordinates the state excellence in management training workshops. He also works with local boards and committees of management when requested to foster healthy outcomes.

Ian is the full‐time Church Growth Director, coordinating Church Planting & Church Health in Victoria. He has been a pastor in the ACC for almost forty years, including 25 years as a senior minister. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in starting, growing, and bringing health to churches.
He is passionate about building the Church and is available to assist Churches across the state.
As a board member of ACC International Relief, Ian is vitally interested in missions and serves as the state missions representative and disaster relief coordinator. Ian can be contacted for advice and ministry relating to these areas.

Paul Kellock is the Senior Pastor of Life Christian Church, Melbourne, Victoria.
Paul’s passion for Christ, his emphasis on church planting, leadership development, relationships and being real, have built Life CC, a church with a significant heritage, into the strong, growing, vibrant church it is today. It has an extensive multicultural ministry both locally and overseas with involvement in a range of activities from establishing orphanages to planting churches.
Paul is a clear and powerful communicator with a strong passion for the Word of God and its relevance to our lives.
Paul is married to Joanne, who is actively involved in ministry with him and they have three children Aiden, Bethany and Benjamin.
Paul coordinates training in the state and runs the state probationary ministers training program. He also chairs the executive finance and HR committee.

Ron along with his wife Susan is the Senior Pastor of Generations Church Tatura. He is the Northern Regional Leader for the state.
Ron and Susan have five children and nine grandchildren. Their children are all involved churches in Victoria.
His ministry emphasis is on building a strong generational local church that impacts its community through the power of the gospel. He loves opportunities to establish influential churches in country communities, raising leaders in the local church, and equipping God’s people to live Word and Spirit balanced lives.
Ron’s passion for country Victoria has seen him appointed as the state executive point-person for all things country.

Phil grew up in Perth Western Australia and knew the call of God from an early age. However, it wasn’t until his early thirties that Phil entered fulltime ministry. Up to then he had served the church in all areas while developing a career in Construction and Project Management. After serving for 6 years as Executive Pastor at Perth CLC, in 2003 God supernaturally called Phil and his family to Riviera Christian Centre, Bairnsdale. Since then they have experienced His favour and seen the church more than double in size, change culture and become a lighthouse church influencing the community and other churches. In 2011 their new 2.5 million dollar facility was opened.
His ministry emphasis is to bring Glory and Honour to God in everything he does and to lead a significant regional church for all generations that focuses on saving and raising people up to have spirit filled influential lives for God. He passionately believes that the local church is the body of Christ on earth today, it is the answer to the needs of the community.

Phil is the Gippsland Regional Leader and as an executive member coordinates our Young Guns event as well as being the liaison for a number of state departments.

Russell was born in New Guinea in 1967 while his parents Pastor Andrew and Lorraine Evans were serving as missionaries. Russell felt the call of God to ministry at an early age and was invited to become a part of the Paradise AOG ministry team in 1991 where he remained for 12 years. Russell felt called by God in October 2002 to plant a new church in Melbourne and at the start of 2004 Planetshakers City Church was established.
Planetshakers City Church has become one of the fastest growing AOG churches in Australia’s history with over 2,000 calling it their home within the first year. Since then, the church has continued to grow and now has a further two campuses in Victoria with a total of 7,500 people.
Russell, with his wife Sam, have a mandate from God to lead a vibrant, Spirit-filled church that will see a revival come to the city of Melbourne. Russell’s dream is to empower a generation to win a generation, accordingly his preaching, discipling and training are geared with that sole objective. Russell and Sam have two wonderful children.
Russell is a valued member of the state executive, bringing years of experience, great connections, and the resources of Planetshakers to the table. He is the chairperson of Youth Alive Victoria.
About Us
State Executive
This body is made up of seven ordained ministers including the President. All members must have been ordained for a minimum of two years, or four years in the case of the President. These members are elected by delegates at the State Conference and serve for at least two years.
Duties of this body include:
- Issuing of Credentials / Recommending to the National Executive those who are eligible for full ordination.
- Providing Vision and Developing Culture.
- Representing the Movement between Conferences.
- Working together in creating the environment for the planting of new Churches.
- Planning of State Conferences, Leadership Summits and Seminars.
- Reviewing any disciplinary matters involving Ministers and/or Churches.
- Management of finances of the State body.
- Engaging the services of experts in matters relating to Government policy, legal and financial matters.
